Weekend Best Bets: April 5-7 (From SanAntoniomag.com)

YMCA of Greater San Antonio
Síclovía
It’s time to play in the street! No really, this weekend you can. The YMCA of Greater San Antonio is shutting down a portion of Broadway for running, biking, cycling or just playing around during its spring Síclovía event. They’ll also offer short exercise classes in parks along the workout route so you can test out that course you’ve been dying to try. Sunday, 10 a.m.-3 p.m., Broadway, 210-246-YMCA, ymcasatx.org/siclovia
Million Dollar Quartet
The cast of this Tony Award-winning show came to town with a bang this week when they sang from atop the Majestic’s marquee for passersby to enjoy. The real show, though, is inside the theater where this cast relives one of the greatest jam sessions of all time. Watch how that day unfolded in 1956 when Elvis, Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis and Carl Perkins came together to record. Friday, 8 p.m.; Saturday, 2 and 8 p.m.; Sunday, 2 and 7:30 p.m., Majestic Theatre, 224 E. Houston St., 210-226-3333, majesticempire.com
Valero Open
Cheer on San Antonians Jimmy Walker and Cameron Beckman or catch a glimpse of the No. 2-rated player Rory McIlroy as he takes on the TPC-San Antonio AT&T Oaks Course during this weekend’s PGA contest. Regardless of who’s ahead, there will be an after party on Saturday complete with live music that you won’t want to miss. Friday, 2-5 p.m.; Saturday, tournament, 2-5 p.m.; after party, 5-10 p.m.; Sunday, 2-5 p.m., TPC San Antonio AT&T Oaks Course, 23808 Resort Pkwy., 210-345-3818, valerotexasopen.org
Missions vs. Drillers
It’s opening weekend for San Antonio as the Missions face off against the Tulsa Drillers during this three-game series. The fun started Thursday but there are still two more games to see. Whether you’re in it for the hot dog or for the stellar pitching, there’s few better ways to celebrate spring than by heading to the ballpark. Friday and Saturday, 7:05 p.m., Wolff Municipal Stadium, 5757 Hwy. 90 W., 210-675-7275, samissions.com
